I thought i had an exhasut leak, so i checked it out and all but i couldnt find anything. So i just took it to a muffler shop and they put it up on the lift and me and two other guyswere looking for leaks with the car running, we couldnt find a damn thing. Im pissed, it doesnt sound real bad but its noticable. And its usually only when the car is low in geas with the pedal floored. And no its not the timing, i know what pinging sounds like. I also have a rattling noise at low RPMs with the pedal floored in almost any gear, sounds like something is loose. Any ideas guys?

have you been running it in high rpm's lately and/or somewhat low on oil?

my car was acting the same way recently. i thought it was an exhaust leak for sure, took the exhaust all down only to find nothing. then the wife & i went to get something to eat the other day. she got out of the car for me to pull into the garage. i let out on the clutch & BOOM. i don't know for absolute positive yet, but we think the engine has stacked a rod bearing

Check your spark plugs. I had a plug that started backing out and it sounded like an exhaust leak. Couple hundred miles later the plug blew out, broke the cop and stripped the threads.
