I have bought a 94-95 mustang chassis that was a carb. car. I am putting my fuel injected 342 in it. My prob. is I have tried 2 distributors and neither one of them broke contact on the the coil. I have had the igntion module tested so I know it isnt that. Any suggestions that you guys can give me would be great I am banging my head on the wall.:bang:

What do you mean about breaking contact with the coil?

Some theory: The PIP sends a signal to the TFI, which then goes to the puter. It goes back to the TFI and leaves the TFI as a ground pulse going to the negative side of the ignition coil. Both the rising and falling edge are monitored.

If your coil's ground is constant, look for bad wiring.

Good luck.
