Come on. There are 25 other drivers on the track that have put as much, if not more effort into the season. Jr was doomed not to make the chase again. Subpar equipment (I'm sure it's thanks to Teresa, right?), blown engines, other peoples mistakes, mental mistakes, penalties... the excuses go on and on.

Did Jr really want to make the chase? He only had what, 130ish points to overcome in a few races. Jimmie had to overcome 250 or more points last season in the chase to win the cup... he did it

Just watching the race last night pissed me off. All the focus on Jr, none on the better racers that were actually winning. Granted, in the last 50 laps, the battle between Jr and Gordon was pretty exciting. Jimmie had already run away from them by then

think so? I almost seeing him going on a rampage like Tony did last year. But then again, he'll be driving Paul Menards crap the rest of the season, which pales in comparison to what Stewie had last year during hte chase.

Speaking of DEI and Jr et al, there's more talk about Jr not making then chase then about the other Jr making it. Where's the props for this guy? Obviously, you can't say DEI isn't all bad. I'm sure people will say it's all the evil step mothers doing, keeping Jr out and letting Truex Jr in
