Not Starting???

OK here is my prob. My car Mustang V-6 2000 wants to start but, will not till I hit the gas pedal once then it starts? It only does this once in a wile & it does not matter if the engine is cold or hot. Plus once it starts it runs fine, I can drive all over. No check engine light & no idiot lights on. I even have a new battery. What the heck can this be??? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Had a tune up about 3 moths ago. Still driving me CRAZY! Only once in a wile I have to step on the gas then let go then turn the key & boom it starts up. Now it has been starting up just fine. go out & turn the key without touching the gas & away she goes.????

Does the engine crank? It just won't start?

YES! oddly enough the engine cranks over but does not start. Then I push on the gas peddle one to the flood
r fast & turn the key & veroom it starts right up & run's fine?
