Not Tech, but damn im jealous.

My brother in law just bought a 1971 Ford F-100 pickup and he told me over the phone that it was all origional and needed to be restored, so we went through what he wanted to do to it. He told me it had a 302 in it and it was the origional engine. I was like thats pretty good, im happy for you. Well he came over yesterday and to make a long story short when he was ready to leave it wouldn't crank, battery was dead, the alternator belt was loose so he had just been driving on battery, then it turned out that he had run out of gas....anyways, i got to looking at the engine and i was like. Tommy, that isn't a 302...it turned out to be a 1971 351 Cleveland out of a 71' Mustang. He got the whole truck for $350...some guys got all the luck, oh well...

I was so mad, i was like you bastard....what really made me mad was the fact that his engine made 330hp stock, he's only about 50hp off of my engine in a worn out pickup. Its completly origional, all parts numbers on the engine match, Crank to carb. Never even been rebuilt, said he found the truck sitting in a field....Bastard.

Should have told him his motor was bad and offered to trade.

But he's a really good christian guy, couldn't screw him over cause he's a idiot i guess...oh well...tax time is coming up...he'll need some money soon
