Let me make a sugestion. Get a spare yolk for the output shaft. When you remove the driveshaft, slap that yolk right in there. You wont have to worry about the fluid leaking everywhere if you do that.

I havn't seen a writeup on this. I am sure there is one somewhere. Buy a Ford service manual on DVD off of ebay. Its only like 10 or 15 bux usually to get an actual one. They are MUCH better then the chiltons/hayens POS manuals.

From what several local mustang builders that I trust their word have told me, Yes, It can.

How many miles are on your car? over 100k then i would surely spend a quick $50 and try it, as they do wear, melt housings, and stretch. The cable if binding has a higher chance of causing the the stiff peddle, since it moves a couple inches each time, where as a pivot point, well pivots LOL.

If i run my car real hard i think my cable stretchs a bit as it sometimes got notchy.
