around here the cop doesn't have to show up..you get F'd no matter what. but we dont use a points system either...That 114 in a 65 story makes me worried though, i need to be more careful on the highways, and get a new radar detector

And how exactly are you accomplishing that? Everytime I get pulled over i'm polite as hell with the "yes sir" "no sir" answers and all my paperwork in order. Even if it's a BS reason for pulling me over I still seem to get SOMETHING for a ticket. Seriously what's your strategy? I'm clearly not going about this the right way...

It also pays to have a good driving record. I got pulled last week for 71 in a 55 in the g/f's Mini Cooper. Cop took my license, came back and said, "You've got 5 positive points on your license, so you're just going to get a warning this time. Just be more attentive."

Nicest. VA State Trooper. EVAR.

Also, a connected lawyer goes a long way. last year I got popped going 76 in a 45 in a work zone. Thats a KILLER ticket. Wreckless speeding plus the work zone fines, yeah...It was a city cop, and I found a lawyer that knows every cop and judge in that particular city. Yeah, dismissed w/ driving school. Worth every penny of $600.

when they ask you what you did wrong. you say you were doing somthing right.

"Do you know why i pulled you over"

"Sir, I do not. I was keeping my eyes on the road and traffic, I couldent tell you"
