Hello guys,

i have the idea to install nu-relics power windows in my 67 fastback.
I´m afraid that i have space problems with the deluxe doors.
Interference windows motor and speaker.
Have one of you experience with this power windows and the door speaker and
courtesy lights?
My door speakers are not stock, i use Alpine with 1 1/2 inch deepness.
I think they are not as deep like the stock ones.

thank you guys

Markus

I used this company for my 66 and there is plenty of clearance underneath the motor

I would think those you're looking at would mount about the same.
Then I used this setup that uses my original window crank handle as the switch cause I didn't want the square push button switch.

I see you are from Wittlich Germany? Is that near Bitburg? I was stationed at Ramstein Air Base near Kaiserslaughtern from 1992 - 1996. I love Germany and still have some friends there that I visit.

yes i from Wittlich, 15 km from air base Spangdahlem.
I ordered the nu-relics power windows and hope that they will fit. I do not use the crank switch.
I use the billet modular switches from watson´s streetworks for the center console.

I have not seen those switches before. I like those. Nice modern machined look.

today i have answere my question myself.

The nu relics power windows kit do NOT fit with a 67 mustang deluxe door.
The window motor interfered with the door speaker. My speaker, a low profile Alpine,
is about 1 - 1 /1/2 inch too deep.
I fliped over the window motor (left to right and right to left) now the motor
interfered with the door courtesy light. The light is about 1 inch too deep in the door.
My idea is a cob led panel with a very low profile. I will report later.

thank´s guys
