I have a 94 mustang GT automatic. It won't crank or anything.i think it might be nuetral safety switch. Can someone tell me where it's located on the automatic and how hard is it to change?

It appears to be located on the trans at the shift lever. Make sure this is the problem, as far as I know they rarely go bad.

Start at the battery, cables tight and clean, check power to solenoid, ignition switch and starter.
Have you tried moving the shift lever with the ignition engaged?

Ok, so you have power at the battery, solenoid, ignition switch and starter. What happens to that power when you turn the key to start? Do a voltage drop test on the above components including the nss.

I'm not sure where to locate the nasty. I actually tried a new starter and still nothing.
