I´ve been searching for convincing flow numbers or revised articles on magazines, and on a lot of sites, but all I read is "should equal the AFR´s", or "better than before" and blablabla.
I´m changing my heads and unless proved otherwise, I´ll get the AFR´s, however costing $300 more.
Thanks for any info.

I'm looking into getting some Edelbrock RPM heads as well. Info would be appreciated.

Eddie heads in the last 5.0 MAG made 12 less peek ponies but close in average throughout the rpm range, but reved well to 6000+ rpm where the AFR's fell off after 5500rpm..AFR offers a spring upgrade but required a price upgrade as well. For less cash than AFR165's with spring upgrade you could buy the Eddy heads and have a nice mild port and polish done and out flow the AFR heads easy, or save 300-450$ and upgrade cam or other components to make up any less HP which would be very minor. Either way you win cause they both work well, but remember a good cam will want to pull to 6000rpm so get the spring upgrade or you may regret it cause you could end up missing out on some significant power up high.

Even with the stock cam my Performer 5.0's pull really hard top end, can't wait to see how they do with a better cam. I plan on getting an Ed Curtis cam some day.
