nut and bolt issue with my rear-end

ok so I have a Versailles rear-end that is all taken apart and ready to be assembled. The problem is that when taking it apart two of the nuts and bolts that hold the axles to the housing were rusted together and had to be persuaded off with a cutoff wheel. Now I am having the hardest time finding a new set of 8 nuts and 8 bolts. I know the Versailles has the larger ones so I can't just interchange the parts. Maybe if anyone has the size of the bolts and nuts I can just go to the local hardware store and buy some grade A hardware and use loc-tite to hold it together. Thanks for the help guys.

Got mine from NPD. Appears there are different ones for 65-68 6 cyl., 65-68 8 cyl., and 69-73 but I have no idea what size the Versailles would be. First place I would check would be the local Ford dealer parts counter and ask for the correct yera Versailles axle retaining bolt and nut. Been there, (see my custom title).

"Check that one side of the rotor isn't significantly thinner than the other side. In addition to rotor thickness, check for missing or broken Studs and/or T-bolts that hold the axle in. These T-bolts are unique to this rearend only, and are no longer available from Ford."

Those bolts shouldn't too hard to find. They're not unique to the Versailles. The full-size Fords with rear discs use the same mounting bolts. They're the same as any "large-bolt" car or truck, except about 1/2" longer. I don't really see a need to find these new when good used will work just fine. You should be able to find them in some local wrecking yard. If used is okay and you can't find them locally, E-mail me. I have some from the full-size cars.
I was in a wrecking yard this past weekend and found a Versailles. The rearend was gone, but the calipers and passenger side axle were in the trunk.

Yup, just fine thread t-bolts. Measure one of the old ones, Think they were either 3/8 or 7/16, depending on year of the axle.

Axle retainer bolts are either 1/2"NF or 3/8"NF.

Then I stand corrected.
It should be fairly easy to measure the bolts to find replacements.
If the parts places don't have any, try a few drivetrain places (trans shop...)
They can usually find some, and more times than not have things like that on hand.
