You will need a 3/8" universal joint, a passenger side header to midpipe gasket, and 3/8" socket extensions. Get some PB blaster penetrating oil and give the midpipe to header bolts a good soaking a few hours before starting and as mentioned earler 6 pack and a swear jar. FWIW when I did mine, I had my car on 4 jack stands at the highest setting.

What type of lift problems do you think you will have? I've never heard of a car siting so low that you can't use a lift. Just curious. Pearl02.

Posted via Mobile Device i think he was saying that he wasnt getting a lift he needed suggestions due to his car being extremely low which makes it really tough to get under...and when it comes to lifts, my car is so low that in order for mine to get on one, it takes a few people to lift mine up in order to get the lift thing under mine

I had a hard time using jackstands, use PB blaster and have extensions. I found it to be too much of a pain changing out midpipes over the years, and just paid 40 bucks for a cheap muffler shop to do it.

Probably many threads on this. I installed mine with no car experience (still none as i suck with cars) and it took me like 10 hours no lie. With the front of the car on rhino ramps (grey) and the ass on 2 jack stands.

It wasn't hard at all because i seen my buddy install my mac catted h about 1 year before i attempted my O/r H. Since than i've installed an o/r prochamber and re-added my Catted H for emissions in maybe 1-1.5 hours after getting the car on ramps and stands. HALF THE BATTLE sometimes is getting car on the rhino ramps without slipping lol.

SO ITS VERY EASY!

edit: This might help you some===> http://mustangworld.com/ourpics/fcar/hpip1.htm
