O/R X Pipe Installation

A reasonable price? Hmmm...

It really depends on what the hourly rate is for shop work in your neck of the woods...

That being said, I wouldn't pay for more than 30 mins of labor to have a midpipe installed at a shop (given that they have access to a lift & air tools, which makes the task much easier).

I'd personally recommend tackling the install yourself though - it's not hard. You really only need a few basic tools to complete the install. Follow the steps in this "how-to" linked below, as found over on fnsweet.com:

no more than an hour i would say. around here most shops charge between $70 and $120 for an hour.

Yikes! That is insanity. I USED to live in CA about 11 years ago. I remember those days.

Shops charge $35 - $45 an hour here. I had my X Pipe put on for $20 as I new someone and I helped (would have been free if I didn't).

Meinike Muffler just quoted me $75. IMO, worth it. I've seen too many threads out here with frustrated Stangers that can't get the manifold bolts off. I'll soak 'em with PB Blaster the night before just to make sure they don't have any problem or break something trying to get 'em off.
But to have them do this install for me is an easy decision, and (to me) easily worth the money.
