ok mustang crew, i put an x-pipe on my car.. i am getting a bad leak . it is coming from the driver's side where the x-pipe connects to the manifold. the UPR is not a great fit right there. the last time when i had it on my gt, i just used shorter bolts and that fixed the problem. my question is, what size are those stock bolts that connect the x-pipe to the manifold??? the last time i just used 2 bolts i had lying around the my garage that i found... well my gt is no more, and i forgot to get those bolts when i got my x-pipe off. so now i guess i have to go buy em... i guess i could just take the bolt off and WALK to the parts store, but i would rather just have the bolts already... thanks guys.

I have the same problem, and everyone is referring to Napa studs # 600-1819. I believe the size is 10 mm x 1.5 mm (M10). And, you did use the 1.5 inch piece of tube with a cone as a seal on the driver side, right? Well, I didn't.. thought it was an adapter of some sort.. I mailed UPR and asked and they tolded me what it was for. Now I have to do it all over again...

It goes between the X-pipe and the manifold/headers on the drivers side.

Hopefully not. When I told the Ford Technician who helped me with my car about this piece that we left out, he said OK, so they thought about the problem with the studs...that would fix the problem!
