I finally got my O2 extensions so I can hook up my bank 1 O2 sensors. I put them in last night, disconnected the battery so it would reset the check engine light, connected the battery after about thirty seconds and went for about a 20 minute cruise. The check engine light stayed off!! I thought finally this thing is fixed after about two months with the CEL on. Low and behold that SOB light turns on again today and shoots the same codes. Front O2 sensor heaters are not working. What the hell do I have to do to get the blasted CEL off!!!! Am I doing something wrong here people? This is really starting to piss me off!!!

Is it bank 1 slow response code or bank 1 lean? Sometimes LT's will throw the slow response code due to the distance they are away from the engine (insufficient reading due to distance). If this is the case there was a thread on here about some faster response O2 sensors (Bosch?) that can be used to solve the slow response code.
