OK i have a 98 gt and its throwing an O2 senor code for bank 1 sensor 2. My question is there any difference in the front and back sensor. The reason I ask is I work at autozone (please save all comments about how stupid autozone and its employees are, I work there I know how bad things are) and can get a senor for around 55 bucks, but the computer say that one sensor will fit all locations, but when I call the local ford place they say there are two different ones and its gonna cost 90 dollars to get one from them. I need to save as much money as possible it being close to christmas and all, but I want to take care of my car. So any info would be nice.

thats the story wth the aftermarket......they make 1 part to "fit-all" and that just ain't right.......+ the aftermarket ones just plan "DO NOT Work Well on Fords"......my advice is get an OEM Ford one from a dealer, I can help you wth the price somewhat......and if it is bank 1 sensor #2, thats a oxygen monitor, not a sensor...
