O2 ?

mostly stock 93 notch 5.0 /// Ok i have long tube headers and i go to buy o2 sensors today and they show upstream and down stream o2 sensors ?? i only have 2 o2 sensor locations toward the back of headers with extensions to reach buns . so which do i need up or down stream ?????? THANKS FOR REPLIES !!!!!

The 86-95 Mustangs only had one set of O2 sensors. You need the O2 sensors located as close to the exhaust valve as possible. That keeps them in the proper operating temperature range.

ok thanks but there are buns on the headers already i just need to know which o2 sensors to buy up stream or down stream ??
