OBD I or OBD II??

is a 95 V6 stang OBD I or II??

OBD-II was started in 96

i thought 96 was first year of obd2 for mustangs?

OBD2 was required on all 96+ domestic cars. however 95 is a bastard year. its probably still OBD1, however it could use a OBD2 connector. look at the connector and see if its OBD2 or OBD1.

im trying to help a friend w/ her V6 stang over the net. its a 95 and her CEL came on, so she asked if autozone can scan it for her. idk if they can if its OBD-I

anyone have a link to the OBD-I codes?? i cant find one.

it may have been required on all 96+ cars but i was under the impression that 94 and 95 V6 cars were already OBD-II???

I'm pretty sure 94/95 V6's are OBDII.

im not sure if they are but i do know the 95 has a diffrent harness than a 96
for the engine i changed the motor in a 95 used a 96 motor and it wouldnt run with the harness that came with the motor had diffrent plugs an alot of the sensors too

The 1995 3.8 Mustang is OBD2.
