Can you get headers for a 302 boss motor in an early body (65-66)?

Try here: New Page 1 They're not cheap, but you won't find better made headers anywhere.

You were right about the "not cheap" part. On the other hand, they have exactly what I would need for the swap. From the looks of the 302C headers, I won't be able to use my stock Z-bar style clutch linkage. That would be another mod I would have to make for the swap.

Give em a call before loooking elsewhere, Stan can tell you exactly what his headers will work in and with what equipment. Seems like he had two different sets in the listings for your's, one looked to me like it might work with the stock Z bar clutch linkage.

I have a set of those headers for our 66' coup with a Boss 302. The Z bar fit's fine. I asked Stan before I bought them. The headers for the Cleveland in the early cars works with the Z bar too. I have set of those in our 65' coup with a C motor. They are expensive but they are the only ones that work well.

Do you recall what you paid for them? $5-6-700?

I paid $430 (shipping included) far a set of their shortys for a full size Merc a few years ago. His stuff is first rate, you'll get what you pay for with FPA's.
