Odd oil pan leak Please advise

It seems that a few oil pan bolts are leaking from underneath the bolt heads and dripping down the side of the pan. there are about 5 or 6 of them that are doing this and it's enough that it's making a mess.

I thought these bolts went into a blind hole? How is it that they could be leaking?

Should I just remove them and coat them with RTV? the oil pan gasket is new, well the whole engine is new but this is the only leak I have noticed so far.

same issue here with the one pc gasket, I did remove and RTV the bolts with success. I have stoped oil from collecting on the heads of the bolts, but am unable to preven an ever so slight trickle I get down the dust shield from the Pan/rear block area. Nice thing is I tried the RTV approach JUST prior to raging and pulling the tranny to replace the rear main seal that I suspected as bad on my brand new motor.

I tried the RTV on the bolt heads and it seems to have worked. Although there were a few bolts that I didn't do which I will have to go back and seal tomorrow when I change the oil as they still appear to be seeping.

I didn't use a one piece seal, but the seal I did use seems a piece of crap. It's acting like a sponge more than anything else. It's one of those fiber type material seals made by milodon.

My rear main seal does appear to have just the slightest leak if I beat on the car at high rpm. That's the only times I've noticed the small bead of oil straight down the block plate.

It is a turbo charged RV...............

Actually it is kinda like caulking for your motor. Used as a sealer for engine mating surfaces. It can be used with gaskets or applied as a gasket itself. good stuff to familiarize yourself with.
