What should I go about checking? My odometer just stopped ticking all of the sudden while I was about 150 miles from home.

My odometer hasn't worked for some time in my 98 aswell

I brought it up once, though no one gave me a direct answer. Hopefully this thread will be different

Malevolyn:

You can buy new nylon gears at "carradio.com". The [pre-98] stock odo gear strips because it was not well-lubed at the factory. It is not an uncommon problem.

You should find out how to fix it and then buy the parts you need and not fix it until the day you want to sell it.

Keep them miles low.

That's pretty wrong to do...

At the rate things are going, by the time the car will be sold, it'd be forced to be new longblock time anyways. I'm not too sure how long the 4.6 will last though im at 135 and still going without problems
