Electrical Odometer

I have a 85 mph speedo and there is wires off the back of it.
One says tach
One says oil
One said temp
Did aomeone use this for gauges ?

Were the wires connected to anything or were they just hanging loose and flapping around?

I bought it like that off someone. The wires r like tapped into the board theought the screws.

Pretty interesting...they did tap for electronic guages... Seems like a good idea. A lot less wiring to do and no aftermarket senders. I don't know how well it'll work though.

How would i wore them yo my guages ? Sorry im new with guages and stuff

it wont. Aftermarket gauges have different sending units for a reason- different resistance than stock. If you try and use Autometer gauges with the stock sending units, it wont read properly if at all..

Autometer gauges running on stock senders will peg and stay there. Not sure what the results of this were but I'm assuming it was in Craig'slist or eBay for a reason.
