OEM HEADLIGHTS CONDENSATION????

Hello ppl,

I got new headlights from ebay, less than $100 for the pair, good price, but i live in South Florida, so after 2 weeks start buiding alot condensation inside,i try already put silicone around the headlights but still doing the same, i'm so tired of this crap, where i can buy real headlights?

Its a coin toss when you buy Stang parts from ebay, but, I've been lucky thus far, try American muscle.com, they are not the cheapest but shipping is free. Sorry to hear about your headlights, when you invest money in your parts, you want them to work for a long time. Try to salvage them.

If you still have your originals you could polish them. It took me a loooong time to do mine (8 years of UV in georgia is killer). When I got done I decided I wanted the 01+ style so I got a pair from american muscle. They fit and looked great when they were new. they still look great but they don't fit like they used to.

I don't know if this would work for headlights, but when I had condensation in a foglight, I drilled two small holes in the bottom of the light housing (to allow water to drain out). I did this a few years ago and the light still works fine, no condensation.

If I had this problem with headlights, I would try this before I toss the old ones.

Well the OEM ones have vents built into them, I am not sure but I would expect aftermarket ones to have vents also.

Performance Parts Inc. has OEM Ford headlights at a good price. That's where I got mine.
