off idle hesitation?

A tune will help, I've heard that CMCV deletes help.

Might as well get an intake when you get your tune. Doug from Bamachips and Brent from brenspeed are GREAT tuners and can give you a good deal on an intake/tuner combo. I went with the JLT Intake and SCT Tuner from Brent and the throttle response is greatly improved and the power is awesome! The price was right too (only $554)!

I have an 07 GT also. Mine is a 5 speed Manual. I went with Brenspeed.com and bought my SCT Xcal2 tuner and C&L CAI with Pypes stainless steel mufflers at one time. It will make you crazy with the new power and NO LAG any more. Gas mileage will go up as a big plus, but you wont believe the second you blip the throttle the first time.

It turns it into another new car to re learn to drive and enjoy more.

I was at a dead stop today, light went green and my car nosedived like never before. I had just come off a 60 MPH drive with cruise on for say about an hour. I was like WTF? And never done it again all day Sunday.

HESITATION ON ACCELERATION AFTER LONG CRUISE

FORD: 2005-2006 Mustang

ISSUE
Some 2005-2006 Mustangs may exhibit a hesitation on acceleration after a long cruise. After coming to a stop from a highway type cruise, some vehicles may experience a hesitation when the customer begins to accelerate. Air bubbles can form around the fuel pump during a long cruise and be ingested into the pump on acceleration causing a hesitation.

ACTION
Refer to Service Procedure for corrective action.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Perform normal Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-04 diagnostics to isolate the concern to the fuel pump.
2. Replace the fuel pump per WSM, Section 310-01.

Ya mines done that but not sure how ford will react to my warrenty I'm sure they'll notice my heads and cams. Might as well step up to the better fuel pump.

CAI + U/D pulleys + tune. So long to throttle lag.

From what I have read, the engineers at Ford detuned the factory setting to appeal to a much broader range of drivers than those of us who prefer instant reponse?

Bit it's just what I read....

Ford wants to minimize the amount of warranty work performed on damaged drivetrain components.

Of the two, my vote would be Brenspeed.
I took mine to a mustang performance shop and put it on the dyno. They tuned it using an XCal.

300 hp sounds good, but they want to minimize the amount of abuse they will have to warranty. if they add lag, then its harder to beat on your car.

Whats AOD and DBW stand for?
If you were talking to me, I had a bad throttle position sensor. It was replaced under warrany and havnt had any problems since!
