i have a quick question. i have a 2010 gt and im looking to go with an off road X-pipe and factory manifolds currently. eventually i would like to go with long tube headers and an off road x pipe and tune. which is pretty expensive at this point.

is there any quality bolt on x/h pipe that can be used with factory manifolds and long tube headers down the road? something that you could unbolt the pipe prior to the crossover and bolt a header flange to?

ive looked around but couldnt really find anything for sure. Pypes seems to have something that looks to be a bit more "universal"

Real quick question, does your state follow the California state standards?

Yeah you would have to buy a new mid-pipe if you switched to LT headers. Obviously because it has to be shorter. If you are going to go LT I think I would personally just wait until you get the headers and get the mid-pipe at the same time. Just opinion though.

i figured as much... i keep seeing kits with a removable "downpipe" to install cats or strait pipes on some Bassani and pypes kits thats why i asked. i dont have the money for LT's/ mid pipe/ tune right now. i could do just a midpipe, as they are pretty cheap. i had a pypes off road h on my 2006 and loved it but i kind of want some headers on my 2010. ill probably just wait til i can fork out the $1000
