off topic: CARDS WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO CARDS, IT will be a good series. But I think the sox will be happy just knowing they beat the yank.

Remember we made Clem. pitch 100 balls before the 5th and it took 3 games for the yaks/soxs to get that number of balls tossed.

am I the only one not into sports of any kind unless its extreme sports? baseball, foorball, soccer, tennis, hockey, basketball all dont do anything for me  and wrestling is the worse out there! I'll watch motocroxx, BMX, surfing, skating all day long though.

I love MX, snowboarding, mt. bikeing, 4X4, racing. Hell I crushed 3 vertabra in my spine from a realy bad MX accident (got throtal locked in a set of whoops in 3rd or 4th gear WOT after riding for 8hrs, then rode 1 mile back loaded up my bike drove 1.5 hrs and worked a 6hr shift with a tiremark across my chest :D ).

I am not that big of a sports guy (although I love going to Blues games) but in STL you cannot get away from it, its a crazy sports town.

In 5 Sox win series.
game 1 Wakefield gets shelled
game 2 Shillling slices through the st. louis line-up like the doctors sliced into his leg to fix tendon.
Game 3 Pedro ask St. Louis who's ya daddy?
Game 4 Big Papi and the long hair bandit run away with a victory.
Game 5 Bronson Arroyo pitches flawlessly in late innings to end the series and clinch first RED SOX title since before the "Babe"

sox in 5.

We cut Jeff Suppan years ago, and he's their number 3 pitcher.

Teams have comparable hitting, maybe a SLIGHT edge to the cards, but our pitching blows theirs out of the water. If we can hit the yankees, I don't see a problem hitting the cards.

Believe.

We will see, game on Sat.

Best not to pitch to the cards if you think you can look at the stats. and what others thought they could do, records in that dept. deep too. Our pitching is ok, I will give the sox that edge. Hope that victory over the Yanks does not go to there head. I dont see a sweep, but it should be a great series.

Why is no one taking the Cards seriously? What do they have to do? win over 100 games, break season/playoff hitting records, have the best offense, make it to the world series?

BTW congrats to the sox for making it too the big show.
