Nothing Wrong With Campbell Hausfeld From Walmart
I got mine for Christmas.
Main reason is with my Walmart discount, it was $200
(RP is $249, still not bad)
This one is 26 gallons, 5.5 HP. My first choice was the UPRIGHT one from Sears for $300, which includes some tools. That is 30 gallons. Sears also has a Horizontal one for a few dollars less, but the upright is easier to store.
If you really want it for work on your car, The BARE MINIMUM you want is 24-25 gallons, 5HP, and a working PSI of 75-90 (again, minimums)
Be prepared to spend a $100 or so for a decent Impact gun, Air wrench, hose(s), connectors/adapters, tire inflator, blower, and few other accessories.
HarborFreight.com can help you here. I have a $35 3/8" air ratchet from Campbell Hausfeld good to 50lbs tq (you do NOT want to skimp with this tool)
It was just enough TQ to take off my alt pulley, since the impact gun wouldnt fit in that space. My 1/2" impact gun is also C.H. from Walmart, for $25.
The other stuff, hoses, blowers, etc you get from HarborFreight.
Im Rigging my garage to have 3 or 4 "air socket" stations around the garage, including one right at my work bench for sanding, polishing and blowing dust.
Good luck
