Official 2006 NFL Thread

Yeah no kidding why does that have to happen on the night they play the patriots? Brady has just looked pissed all the 1st half.

Well I'll prob fall asleep watching the rest of it since 4:35 comes early. I'll have to catch the score in the AM.

I missed most of the Steelers game today cause I had a show to work. I did hear some of it and when Cochli (spell) was back for the punt the color commentator said "uh oh" and then the dude muffed a punt =turnover on the Pittsburgh 9. Christ, we have Holmes and he can at least catch the ball. But overall I would say Pittsburgh sounds like a team that has not hit their stride yet. The D is playing well, The offense has to get their chit together real fast. Maybe the week off next week will help out.

Cought the score at one point when I woke up last night after it was over. From what I saw Brady never looked like he was into it, like a kid that got his lunch money stolen. I think the loss of Branch and Givens is having an effect on offense. Brady was the leading passer last season (yards) and when you take away his 2 main weapons it will have an effect. Their running game has improved and the defence is not that patch work secondary they put together during some of their superbowl runs so Im not really sure what the issue is. Maybe denver is just their nemisis team like the Patriots have been to the Colts for along time. Either way next week is a big game, I dont want to see them drop 2 AFC games in a row and the Bengals are looking pretty good. Well off to work.

brady wasnt the problem last night he threw for 320 yards on 55 attempts what is the problem is the 55 attempts the pats had no running game at all last night i believe that made the difference in the game.

Ok, ill be the one to say it...

Something about that whole game didnt sit well with me... why... if this state wasnt the fine upstanding place it is, i would almost say it looked staged to me. and they blamed it all on the grass... :nonono:

Nevermind, this is the most corrupt state in the country... carry on saints.
