*OFFICIAL* 2008 Fantasy Football League

I think this weeks loss may have knocked me out of the post season for good.

This season has been so F'ed up. I do the sensible thing and sit Manning against a top passing defense and start Edwards against a crappy pass defense and the difference is -16 points for me. I could have won w/ the correct personal in such as Williams who got 17 points and manning w/ 22 .

Dallas Clark, TE IND
News: Colts TE Dallas Clark led the team in receiving yards for the second straight game Week 8 at Tennessee, finishing with seven catches for 94 yards. He also caught both of QB Peyton Manning's touchdown passes -- a 10-yard score in the first quarter and a 19-yard score in the third.
Analysis: Clark had gone without a touchdown grab all season, which had somewhat disguised his brilliant performance of late. He now has at least 80 yards receiving in three of his last four games and has seemingly replaced Marvin Harrison as one of Manning's go-to guys. Consider him one of the few elite Fantasy tight ends this season and a must-start against the Patriots in Week 9.

Here's to hoping he keeps up the good work.

General question:

How do the playoffs work in a fantasy setup? If one or more of your players' teams does not make it to the playoffs or far into the playoffs, does your fantasy team just go on without the player(s) with respect to stats & points?

Mish mash mush...

Things tightened up in week 8 as some winners lost and some losers won. With 4 teams at .500 now it is critical for those teams to get on a roll and take some games in the stretch. Things are most interesting in the Central as taquitos (5-3), riding a 3 game win streak, has tied it all up with hobiedude (5-3) for the top spot. In a side note timeless (3-5) took out all frustration for a slow season by scoring 149 poiints against inphiniti (2-6). Will be the team to watch if they can keep it up.

The West still has Zack Attack (6-2) in the premier position but Chads95GT (4-4), in a 3 game slide, has allowed the Ramprats(4-4) to knot it up for second place. Speaking of the Ramprats the matchup with powerhouse SVTTECH isn't scareing them. When headcoach COramprat was asked about the impending match-up he repiled "Who?...Oh yea. They are OK I guess..."

The East is all but sown up as SVTTECH (7-1) has a commanding lead on the nearest contender Bakos at 4-4. Unless the world comes to an end they should make the playoffs rolling on all 8 cylinders.

My season was over on week 1. My plan which won me the championship last year ended seven minutes into the season.

Now my only goal is to ruin some playoff runs for some other teams so they can feel the pain I have endured for the whole season.:D

What are you talking about? I am the one who lost Brady, not you.

My team was built around brady and the Patriots offense. Look at the lack luster production Moss has had this year compared to his record setting season last year. Many of my points came from Moss last year b/c he was a huge target for brady in the endzone. This year..not so much.

Tom Brady going out for the year effects alot more then just the sole owner of the team that had him in all leagues

I had to do some last minute scrambling as both of my stating RB's were questionable. I think I can make it with what I was able to find but it sucks that I'm getting on a roll and then start getting hurt.
