My first / only 4.6......got her in April 2019 and have added maybe 4k miles on her since then (beyond the 120k it had).

Still drive it like I just stole it...

Sweet Jesus Man. That was a project car indeed! Not quite every nut and bolt got touched, but from the pictures - it looks like 90% rebuild to better than factory specs.

Awesome respect for the effort you put into your Cobra!

02 Mustang GT premium five speed. Long tube headers, catted H pipe, flowmaster Cat-Back, 3.73 gears, accufab plenum, Sr performance air intake, TKO500 transmission, centerforce clutch, SFI scatter shield, MGW shifter.

This photo was taken around April 2005. I just bought the 2001 Mustang GT convertible after my husband bought his 2001 Bullitt Mustang.

This photo was taken last week, almost 18 years later, when both cars were reunited after purchasing the convertible back from my friend that I sold her to.

When I first owned the convertible, my vision was the look of a Mach 1 convertible. I modified it with the following:

• OEM Mach 1 hood
• OEM Mach 1 Shaker adapted to fit the SOHC engine
• OEM Mach 1 grille delete
• OEM Mach 1 chin spoiler
• OEM Bullitt scoop deletes
• OEM Bullitt instrument cluster
• 18x9" AFS Mach 1 replica wheels
• Mach 1 style hood/side stripes (do not say Mach 1)
• smoothed OEM 03/04 Cobra rear bumper
• Borla Stinger exhaust

I had the opportunity to buy it back from my friend so I jumped at it. It does need a little TLC. The top will need to be replaced, it was sliced open during an attempted break in. The chin spoiler was removed in an unfortunate parking block incident. It will be put mostly back to stock GT. Some of the parts (rear bumper, scoop deletes, instrument cluster) will be removed and used on my Bullitt or stored (maybe sold?).
