Official wire hiding thread?

Yeah I hid the vacuum lines also... see the web pages

hmmm my previous Mustang only had an alt and water pump (no power steering) I hid the wires but it was carb. I'll check and see if I can find pics.

Right now I'm wondering about the salt & pepper shakers. I feel like using a 20 pin ATX computer type connector so it can be hidden easier Or some audio/visual type connectors that basically would bolt into the firewall and the engine harness would plug in to that (like a plug in a wall socket type of deal). I'm going to remove the upper intake to remove the engine harness and fix that up as well.

Why not just make the fuel injecter harness longer, and move the shakers under the dash?

Funny you mention that... I was thinking of that at lunch. You want to be able to unplug those connections easily just in case. I'm making a cover plate that will cover the huge hole I made, so by unscrewing that plate, the connectors could be pulled out easily. I'm going to work with the engine harness tonight to see what I come up with though...

I'm also going to see how hard it would be to move the freaking speedo cable lol Also notice my super cool jobber TB water passage delete lol

lol cool... I sometimes feel like getting rid of the heater too. I'm still too much of a nancy for that though, sometimes it gets real cold at nights here.

What Happened To This Thread?

Anyone know what happened to this thread? I am getting ready to tackle this and have been trying to gather up as much know how from everyone as possible. This looked like it was going to be great and then nothing.

Was searching online for some pics to see what others had done and I find my thread :/ I had a server crash and lost my files... not sure where the backups are.

The only pics I have of that car:

I traded that car for a clean hatch, sold that and years later got the 86, which I'm not in the process of hiding wires
Engine bay when I got it:

Working on the harness and such...
