oh ****, cracked intake manifold help! (pics)

The hole that the bolt goes into is circled in the pics; it cracked off and the bolt threads are exposed. Am I looking at a new lower?

As long as a bolt has some threads to bite on it should be fine.

buy a helicoil repair kit. should be good as new

as long as the threads you have hold, it should be fine. or you can buy a better lower....

get the part that cracked off TIG welded back on and then drill/tap it back to original or use the heli-coil on it.

Yeah if you can find the broken piece, that is the way to go.

Personally, I would fill the hole with weld and re-drill/tap it fresh.

I took it to my mechanic I get to do some of my work, a real great trustworthy guy (no sarcasm) and he sent it to a reputable machine shop and they are going to fill it then redrill and tap. Thanks for the help, I was getting worried I was going to have to find a lower and overnight air it there for a bit.
