Hey guys I think we all been a situation where in something with our cars wasn't right my personal story i blew a header gasket (cheap ones) and I also had a plug wire burn really bad because it touch my headers. So I put the electrical tape on it to patch it up. One day going to work this guy pulls up besides me in a hodna del so with boost dr on his license plate. I knew that he was going to try me so we he took off and i did the same, it was close until his "boost" kick in. We stop at the light i told him that i had a blown header which doesn't really make a huge difference in performance but a bad wire will make a difference but again not a huge difference. Its time for a cam now can't afford heads yet. What is your story?

hypertech programming, trickflow intake, off road h-pipe,flowmasters 40,bbk shorty headers, bbk underdrive pullies, granatelli mass air,bbk 65 mm throtle bbk cold air, 160 degree thermostat, 373 gears, eibach springs, 18 inch cobra r's

replaced the water pump today... a 6 hr job for me. also put in the underdrive pullies (alternator/crank/water pump). The alternator bolt took like 1 hr of me swearing and cutting the crap outta my hands and another hr with my dad finally grabbed a huge pipe wrench and rippted the sucker off.. dunno if it's on tight enough yet. well that huge job made me miss a date so i'm kinda steamed

Donjohn- why didn't you just take the alternator to a local Autozone or something and they will remove it with an impact gun for free, then put the new one on, and tighten it down.
