My 96 Cobra was a little scary at 80+MPH. So, yesterday, I installed:

1. 03-04 Mach 1 struts..ordered from Ford, made by Tokico.
2. 00 Cobra R inner tie rods..ordered from Ford Motorsports
3. 00 Cobra R outer tie rods..ordered from Ford Motorsports
4. 03-04 Cobra steering shaft..orderd from Blue Oval Industries.
5. 94-04 Firewall Bearing..which the shaft runs through on 94-04 cars.
6. Front end alignment
7. Rebalanced front wheels and tires.

WOW!! My 96 Cobra handles better than it ever has while I have had it. The car launches straight as an arrow, and it takes corners on the eway smooth and clean. My struts were SHOT, so going over bumps isn't a problem now either. The play in my steering wheel is gone too, because the firewall bearing broke, and fell out!! I have never been so happy driving it.

Anybody with original, or anybody that drag races a lot, replace your parts it will be worth it.

I can weld good, but if I pogo stick, I might break an arm or leg, then I would have to pogo stick my butt to the hospital.
