How big of a pan can you use in a MII with manual steering and 302.Sump measurements assuming I would have a mini starter.
The reason I ask is I have a perfectly fine MII v-8 pan off the engine and the engine will go back in within the month.
They are in need but not for me so I thought well I could sell it to someone that HAS to use it and I could go with something a bit better (traps etc) since I am able to.
Thanks,
John
BTW I'm not looking to rape someone that has to use a MII pan.

As you know, there is plenty of room in the front of the pan. A mini-starter and manual steering won't allow you to run aftermarket oil pans. You still need the low belly in the rear of the stock oil pan to clear the steering rack. Ask me how I know this

I'm running a 8-qt front sump milodon knock-off from eBay with no clearance problems. I'm running a ministarter and a manual rack.

That's really cool... I tried a different oil pan then the one you used and it didn't clear the rack. I'd never heard of anybody getting one to work without having to hit it with a hammer here and there. Learn something new everyday I guess.
