oil change mystery

I didnt check my oil for a while. I just went to change it...pulled the plug and only got 2 quarts. Any thoughts. ??

Did you happen to pull the second drain plug?
to the rear of the oil pan...

should be close to 5 quarts give or take 1 quart depending on oil consumption..

Yeah the second plug is on the bottom of the pan.

yup just like they said... theres 2 plugs!

one in the front and one in the back.

can you tell us where the level on the dipstick was before the change?

make sure you got both plugs...your low oil dummy light should have kickd on with just 2 quarts in there.....
