I bought a used stock engine from someone on another forum because I want to put my car back to stock so i can sell it. It is missing its oil level sender and the guy at Autozone was being a jag-off and says they don't carry them. Does anyone know where I could get another one? I don't have my old one because I have the Moroso oilpan on my 331. I bought the closest size plug I could from Autozone and that didn't fit. What should I do? Thanks

They are expensive!!!I bought a drain plug same size as front plug near sway bar and tossed that sensor. If you snip the wire and tape.I figure MOST stangers are always aware of oil in there stangs. However I can see where some folks will pay to replace your choice!!!

if all else fails, get ahold of James (The Shape). he has replaced his (from LRS, IIRC) and also had it plugged for a little bit i think (while waiting for a new one, since the old ones leaked like a sieve). he probably knows what size bolt to put in the hole.

good luck.
