Hey my oil pan is really rusty, and I am having the new engine built as we speak.. 347... anyways just wondering about replacing the oil pan, should I get the 7qt one, anyone have problems with these??? Clearance issues or installation problems? Thanks, should I just go with a factory replacement, frpp? They sell kits for about 100 that includes pump etc. Thanks

Use a canton pan with windage tray, pickup, and dipstick.
Should fit fine. You might as well, it's the last chance you are going to get to change the pan while the engine is out.
The windage tray should get you around 5 rwhp.
