The oil pan on my 85 has rusted out. Had a pinhole leak in it. When I poked it with a screwdriver it got bigger. The whole pan is pretty rusty and I have a spare lying around so figured I would change it.
For those of you that have done it how high did you have to raise the engine to get the pan off? It looks like 4 inches or so would do. I have the tools to yank the engine but would rather just lie on my back and get it done with while the engine is raised. Thanks.
