I was chinging my motor mounts and I noticed the oil pan had some rust on it...been that way for a while but never caused a problem. I jacked up the engine, using a board between the jack and oil pan, and when I set it back down some of the rust fell off. Now I have a steady drip from the oil pan about every 45-60seconds...And what really pisses me off is the fact that I just changed the oil a couple hours ago
. I was thinking maybe I could try to put some JB Weld on it
. I still have good oil pressure and it doesn't seem to drip any faster when its running. I really don't want to pull the engine and change oil pan. I just need it to last untill winter, when I will hopefully have a 351 waiting to go in.
