the oil was very thin, it smelled like gas. i think when i was messing with the carb and linkage, i pumped a bunch of fuel in it a couple weeks ago and i think that diluted the oil. thta has to be a big factor. i am going to try 10w40 soon. i won't run it until then.
i also forgot to mention that i installed the stock oil pump without the gasket between the block and pump. i didn't have it and i heard from a bunch of folks from here that it is not needed. could that be effecting the pressure some.
