The Ford Part Number for what you need is a C20Z-9B339-A. Unfortunatly there is No Stock in any Ford USA warehouse. Phone your local Ford Dealer, give them the Part Number and tell them to try and find one for you.... they may be able to locate one from another dealer or just S.O. order it.

if yours is like the 87+'s motors, you are looking for the 'hex tube' which screws into the block. it has a female fitting for the male sender to screw into......?

that was my take, but either im wrong or others did not get that.

if so, id try a J/Y or fab one up yourself.

good luck.

Hello HISSIN50,
The oil sending unit out of a 1996 Explorer with a 302 is smaller than the Mustang sending unit. The Explorer is small enough to just screw into the block without the hex tube and clear the oil filter. Hope this Helps.
