Oil Pressure Sending Unit?

just run autometer gauges and call it a day. if dead gauges bother draw an orange line on the gauge cluster glass at the middle mark. I run aftermarket gauges and left the stock oil pressure unit out. I dont even think about that corner of the cluster anymore.
To the OP I run electric long sweep gauges. No chance of leaks and they have been very reliable, at least in my case, over the last 4 years.

Does it really matter? You got your answer above before the conversation went that route. If you needed more info it's only because you didn't go out to the car and look.
Really? This is the first mustang I've owned. Don't know much about them. I've only owned mopar. Like my 06 R/T magnum. So I look to forums to help, not for smartass comments. Keep them to yourself.

Just bought an Autometer 3277 1/8" NPT to -4AN restrictor fitting. The orifice is 0.025". Should I open this up more or would it work as is?
Should be fine once the engine warms up and the oil thins out a bit. It will be sluggish to respond in really cold weather.

My plan was a lot cheaper than buying a restrictor fitting. However, not everyone has a steady hand to drill the small hole or the tools to make their own restrictor fitting.

Well the fitting was $7 shipped. I figured, what the hell?

Besides, i was switching from the nylon line to AN hose, so it was either $5-6 for the adapter, or spend an extra buck to get the restrictor fitting

But if i need to drill it out some more i am more than willing to do that

You got your answer.
But you seem to be agitated that your post went off topic.
Happens all the time here and anywhere.
Not sure what the big deal was, if you actually went out to the car and looked after the first few descriptions you wouldn't have needed any more info and probably wouldn't have cared that the thread veered in some other direction.

Maybe i'm a wise ass, i can live with that description, but i do my share of helping too.
I could have just said to use the search button in my first response, because i know for sure that search would have contained the 100 times jricker has posted the how to.
