My oil pressure is high when my speed is up but when I come to a stop the needle goes all the way in between the N and the line in NORMAL than it goes back up high again. What is going on here?

The factory oil pressure guage is no more than a dummy light with a needle. Once the sending unit detects 'some' pressure, it will display where Ford set it at. Installing an aftermarket oil pressure gauge is the only way to accurately determine the reading.

I thought putting an aftermarket oil pressure gauge in was easy. Just be sure to get a T so you can use the stocker as well.

The oil pressure is supposed to go up when you are driving, since the oil pump is spinning faster, then when u come to a stop it slows down. Its all in relation to RPM's.

Mine was easy too, since the WT gauge was in, I tapped into those wires.

I couldnt fit a tee in there because I have the Vortech Oil line tee'd on that spot already. I dont think I EVER really looked at that stock OP gauge either :nonono: RC

I have my turbo feed line coming from there as well, just use two T's :D

Installing an aftermarket gauge is not that difficult, especially if I can do it. I installed my elec. oil pressure and water temp gauge at the same time. You will only have to use a 'T' if still want the factory dummy gauge to work.
