oil sending unit

Anybody know where I can get the extension that the oil pressure sending screws into or can the unit just screw into the block

it cant screw directly into the block, its rather fat, and would obstruct the oil filter. you can get the extension from ford, but it is rather expensive ($90). i got mine for about $25 from the local mustang supply house, http://www.cjponyparts.com.

You could just use an extension pipe from the plumbing section of the home store. 94-95s dont use the hex tube extension and this is what I did. It was 1/4" NPT.
