Anyone else ever have problems with their foglights not working?

Ok, I've had my car for a little over 2 months and immediatly had to buy headlights b/c the smoked lenses don't cut it in the dark

I bought some of those black housed/projectors with halos around them and was gonna hook the halos up into the foglight ciruit. But the guys before me wired the fogs into the corner lights so they wouldn't have to push a button which blew the headlight switch, so I bought a new one. Lame, I know. Now that I've fixed that problem and wired the halos into the fogs, something has gone wrong.

I had them working when I first put them in, but now they won't come on. I know the LEDs in the halos don't draw enough to overload the circuit, and I haven't blown any fuses, so I'm stuck.

I've traced everything under the hood and all that wiring checks out fine. I've checked the wiring under the console and it's fine. So maybe it could be the switch in the console or maybe between the underdash fuse panel and one of the 2 harnesses?

I'm about to just rewire the dang thing completely

Time to pull out your meter or test light and dissect the circuit.

Also, Be sure the halos are properly grounded.

Did you keep the OEM fog light relay in the circuit? I'd have done this. The relay helps keep one from overloading the headlight circuit.

Yes, halos are properly grounded. I also have left the OEM relay in as well as put a new one in to make sure it's good.

I'm going to go through the entire circuit this weekend again, so we'll see...

You do know that the headlights must be on in low beam only.

Yeah, I know the headlights need to be on low and no, the halos didn't blow. Plus they're LED so it's gonna be hard for them to blow.

Finally got em working. I'm not sure what was wrong cuz I just traced the circuit, made sure I had power and plugged em in..
