I ordered the zex kit from brenspeed. After going back and forth on what mod I wanted to do, driveshaft, upd's, headers, s/c, I figured this was bang for the buck. Wish me luck.

Thanks man I am going to run a 75 shot when I first get it. Once I get tired of that I will run the 100 shot. I am not going over 100.

Yeah I have been very busy but I got the kit on and its amazing, you'll see when I post pics. I ran with the 75 shot, I am most likey going to the track this weekend and running that. After that I am dropping the 100 in. The kit is great no complaints with the install pretty straight forward. My only complaint is all the bright purple but when I post my pics you will see what I did to solve that problem. 1st gear is pretty much useless now, my rpm's shoot up so fast I dont even know when to shift. 2nd gear also. It is difficult to keep the car straight in 3rd(I have stock tires). I deffinetly need to step up the meat on the back now.

I was testing the car out this morning on a straight away by my house and a freaking cop came by my house like an hour after I got to work and spoke to the wifey and said they were getting complaints about a black mustang speeding. She told him that the car is loud and that I dont speed around and that people get it confused with speeding. The cop told her he would be back by later. The one time I get on it by my house and there was probably an old man or old lady with nothing else better to do other than police the neighborhood, I freaking get caught. Oh well I doubt he'll come back, hopefully.

I think I am going to, can I run a colder plug with the 93 tune with timing turned up or do I still have to run the nitrous tune?

It was on this site somewhere but what I think brenspeed said (don't quote me, but I think I read it here) was that they ran 87 octane tune with the HT0 plugs to be on the safe side. They still ran 93 gas, just on the 87 tune with nitrous.

But colder plugs and that much timing lost from going to the 87tune, you really dont feel that much of a gain as you do with a nitrous tune. Thats how it felt for me when I put the 87 tune with 93 octane. Rolling start wasn't as aggressive (50 mph+).

Its on the wot. It pretty much feels like the little 4.6 just turned into a 7.0 and is asking to be let loose to cause mayhem. I will most likey get some pics up tomorrow. It will be interesting to see everyones reaction on how I set it up. Total sleeper.
