ok Im stumped

Ok... I have a new clutch (ram powergrip), new ford racing tob, new ford racing pilot bearing... I have a firewall adjuster, billet quadrant, and im using the stock clutch cable... everything works as advertised... clutch is 1000% better than stock for my application, the firewall adjuster moves engagement from the bottom of the pedal to the top (which is set up and has been setup in the stock release location)... everything seems to be in perfect working order as it is supposed to be, except...

when the clutch pedal is fully released, the throwout bearing is screaming like hell. if i apply just the slightest bit of pressure to the clutch pedal it stops. it does this in every gear and neutral. ive tried backing the adjustment out, ive tried raising the adjustment. ive even tried spraying the tob itself with lube while the engine is running to get it to stop and NOTHING is working. Im debating on putting a light duty spring on either the quadrant or the fork to apply the 1/2 lb of pressure to the tob, to get it to quit squeeling. but before i do that, i would like to know what your guys take is on this.

note: its got about 1/4 inch of slack in the cable right now and even when i take the slack out, it still squeels. it only stops when i apply light pressure to the pedal.

please help.

one more thing...

if i adjust the clutch out to the point where it does quit squeeling, (which can be done), the clutch is so high that its borderline slipping (i think), and i know that there has to be alot of pressure on the TOB at that point which can lead to premature failure. the strange thing is, if i adjust it to the point where its catching literally off the floor, it still does the same thing. squeels until i put very light pressure on the pedal.

this makes no sense to me at all.

the tob was greased, it had drag. i did have to re-adjust the clutch after a few hundread miles. as for lubing the bearing, i was reaching for straws. i used the same stuff i use on my s/c idler pulleys and hoped it would help in that situation as well. maybe it has something to do with the clutch cable? i dunno. it doesnt make any sense to me. but im tired of driving around town with my foot lightly pressing the clutch so it doesnt squeel.
