Wowee, nothings more exciting then picking up the phone and ordering $1700 worth of stuff. In a way I feel good that i made good decisions, in an other i'm just hoping i didn't screw up .
Let me know what ya think.

here's what i got.

From Summit
Tires
BFG comp t/a hr4 p235/45r17(front)
Bfg comp t/a hr4 p245/45r17(back)

Wheels
from Mustangs Plus
AR TTII 17"x8 43/4 BS(all 4)

Now maybe i can clear these freakin monster brakes?

cool. I'm about to do pretty much the same thing. how much were the rims from M+, if you don't mind me asking. also, did they come with lugnuts, stems, center caps? I'm thinking about 17x9.5 on the rear of my 67, but am not sure what backspacing I should use. I may just go with 17x8 all around....
thanks.

out the door with add price for lugs(19.00 a set) was 1118.00 to be here in 2 days.

tires were 580.75 from summit racing.

i asked the best backspacing to run on many a forum and also it was recommended by mp.plus my car is slightly lowered all around. well guess i'll have a full report in a week or so.

good luck!

Dangit Eric, you beat me. I'm going to get rims and tires for mine in October. I bet they're going look good on your car. And I'll get to see them in about three weeks or so.

Sounds good to me. And doing it at the hobby shop will make it really easy with the lift. So if I help you, that means you'll help me with pulling the front of my motor apart right?

Tracy and the kids came to visit me for my birthday in March, I didn't recoginze Morgan. Talk about a shock.

That would be great. Brown paid me a visit tonight, too: Global West Negative Roll UCAs!!

I'm mostly interested in seeing if the front 17x8s clear the front Baer rotors and calipers, because that is the same setup I have on order.

and you already have people offering help. AF from Vandenberg? what AFSC? I was in the AF too; 4 years at Wheeler AAF in HI. (not to thread-jack...)

Congrats on your career. When I was in HI, I was always in the hobby shop working on my Fox 5.0. I met a lot of great people, and learned a lot, too.

btw, I was J1C4. TACP.
