Ok well I have pretty much maxed my motor as is. Im at 320rwhp and am pretty much at the limit that the HCI 302 will make on motor. So I was thinking a dry nitrous kit. I am pretty sure I will have to upgrade to a 255 fuel pump. But am using 24lb injectors right now. If I get just the 255 fuel pump you think I can leave everything else the way it is with a 75-100 shot?

75 shot will be fine, dry vs wet been discussed many times here before, personally i had good luck with NOS 75 stage1 and 150hp Stage2 Dry(extra pump), I am going to try the wet to see the difference, the installation was real easy too on a dry kit.

you can PM me i have brand new dry NOS kit with bottle and bottle bracket, purge kit for sale if you are interested, or just look at the classified oink, oink

I'd get bigger injectors if you're planning to run a decent shot... I swapped to 30's when I H/C/I'ed my car because I was told that my stock 24's would be close to reaching their max duty cycle, so I think a H/C/I setup with a dry shot would definitely be more than those 24's can feed.

my dry shot was fine for my stock 5.0 but now i wish i had a wet shot. (hint)

also you should probably run 30lbers and add an inline pump on top of a 255 in tank pump if you plan on using the dry shot.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

The NOS dry kit is definately better for smaller shots. Much safer, and delivers better power. You don't need bigger injectors. It makes very little difference. The 255 in tank will be fine. I did about a 125 shot on just a 255lph in tank on my 347. I had to step up to an inline pump when I went to the 150 shot.

most people think you need to step up on the injector size for a dry kit but thats not true in most cases. the typical off the shelf dry kit runs on elevated pressure at the fuel rail. obviously the increased pressure makes the injector spray more than it would at stock pressure. therefore you chose your injector based on your N/A requirements. the only time you would need to run larger injectors on a dry kit is if you have a custom kit that you run on stock fuel pressure. in that case you would much larger injectors than required for your N/A requirements along with a custom nitrous tune. it can be done but its not very common. just get the pump and you will be good to go.

Thats weird because Ive seen people making 280rwhp with 19lbers. I would imagine 24's should do 300 at ease.

Do a 255 HIGH PRESSURE pump. Get a used NOS 5115 dry kit, jet it for 100 and go. As long as the a/f is safe, you should be good to go. Don't forget colder plugs gapped lower and pull timing.

yea I may buy hollywoods kit. Already using plugs 1 stage colder and will drop timing from 20 to 10.

smart move, bet it'll be a walbro too.
I'd strongly recommed getting a wet kit, or buy a dry kit plus a fuel solinoid and fogger nozzel. Real simple to turn a dry kit into a wet kit.
